I found a 2018 at MSRP in Midland Texas. Flew from SF last Friday and drove it home over the weekend

Most of the under MSRP trucks reported in this thread turned out to be vaporware when people followed up. Some are getting Raptors under MSRP, but it is still rare.

Got mine for 1K over invoice. Had another lined up for 3,600 under MSRP - its now sold. Also found one at sticker plus they were willing to give top dollar for my trade-in. However, it was not what I wanted, so I waited for the right one. So they are out there if you work for it by doing some research.

Where are you located?

East Coast GA.
I keep getting private messages wanting the dealer info.
So for all of you it was Sylvania Ford, 912-564 2902 & the Sales person was Michelle Stubbs (the only sales person).

The manager came out after I bought (their ONLY Raptor) and said they sell all their cars at invoice because they want customer loyalty.

FYI - they are a small dealership in the middle of nowhere. He also said that dealers still get 3% of the sales price from Ford - so that is how they make their money.

Therefore they may only make those invoice deals for local customers? Not sure.

However, Michelle was great! She is a person you can trust.

Again the deals are out there. I found another at MSRP - however it was priced 6K over MSRP - the dealer just wanted to sell it so he lowered it to MSRP and offered top dollar for my trade-in. But it didn't have the 802a package so it was a no go for me.

Really funny to still see the few deniers on here. Thousands of these in inventory. When dealers are advertising sticker price, you know the real market is below. When the dealers are advertising discounts, invoice pricing might not even be the floor.

Fact is, even at invoice pricing, these are still ridiculously expensive trucks. If you want a Raptor with keyless entry or a garage door opener and it's 65, 70k. Used to be you could get a loaded gen 1 in the low 50s, before discount. You can technically buy a Raptor in the low 50s now but it's embarrassingly poorly equipped.

After the initial flood of sales, I think Ford is going to have a hard time moving these trucks in general. They're either going to have to turn the truck month spigot on for Raptors or start including a lot more features in 800A and 801A.

No doubt the gen 2 Raptor is an awesome truck, but it's going to be a low-volume seller at these prices now that the new shine has worn off.

Hey Mcnawsty (aka ecoboost troll "sasquatch"), would he have to wait longer than it will take for that new engine you promised was coming???

You really think I'll be waiting that long, I placed the order 1st week in August. I'm thinking it will be pulled within the next 45 days at least for build.
