I went to Autonation Ford Amherst to see Leadfoot in person to see if I like it better than my Lightning Blue. Pretty cool seeing this many new Raptors in one place. I'm not crazy about Leadfoot, it's just a little lighter than Lithium. Kind of looks like a "wet primer" if that makes sense.

Autonation is a chain of 4 dealerships in Ohio, between all of them they show 17 Raptors in stock. The 2017 Avalanche isn't on their site anymore, it was either sold or pulled off the market because of the recall.

Lazy? Stupid? Hell if I know. People fly to the Midwest and drive new vehicles back to the coasts all the time.

I could post a dozen more under sticker, but you seem to be be convinced its all just fake pricing. I know these dealers first hand around here and they don't do that crap. If they post a price on Autotrader or Cars, you can buy it at that price.

Not convinced just skeptical, I work in the car business don't believe everything I see. But if its legit thats great

I first started my search for a new Raptor about 9 months ago and every single dealer I contacted wanted $10K-$20K markup. I told each of them no way! and they all told me I would never get one at sticker..... I knew it was only a matter of time and that they would come down and I am glad I waited saved some easy money.

No one should buy one of these trucks over MSRP at this point.

Murph...so did you get a 2017 or 2018? Did it matter either way to you?

...every under sticker deal I called on was not real. I'd get excuses about automated systems and interns putting in the wrong price, etc, etc.

sounds like something the State Attorney General's office would want to hear about

Not worth the hassle since every dealership was honest when I called. I would have been pissed if they lied on the phone to get me in the dealership only to pull the switcharoo in the final paperwork. Sounds like that happened to some people here. I bought out of state but had all the paperwork sorted ahead of time and the total price down to the penny for the cashier's check.
