He said he bought it, which would mean they honored it? It isn't unbelievable really... They are still making plenty of money at that price.

On another note, wtf is up with all these dealers ordering the majority of the trucks with 2K worth of STICKERS?! To each their own, but to me even getting a truck at MSRP that has stickers is like paying 2K adm.

At $4000 or so off, there only making $2500.00 or so and on these trucks with the market willing to pay more, does not make sense a dealer would sell for that. And nobody ever seems to post an official buyers order showing it. They all just talk about it.

Agree, a dealer who needs discounts to sell a Raptor isn't very good at his job.

More options equals more profit for dealers.

Hence why if you see a 800a or 801a truck running around, that was more than likely a custom order. Along with SCABS.

Other way around, dealers order 802a and SCREW because that is what buyers want. On 2017 where most were customer orders, 90% were SCREW and 80% 802a.

Brings me back to my point about the stickers... Do most buyers really want to spend 2K on some stickers? Seems they would have an easier time selling their trucks if they ordered 802A SCREW without stickers. I won't even consider a truck with stickers as it kills the deal for me and I'd feel as if I paid 2K adm.

Buyers order, Here it is

I ended up getting the truck I spoke about a few days back for 1775 off! I’m extatic and understand that these deals don’t happen often. I had to search around very hard for a legitimate good deal.

The 4k and change off was worth having decals removed !! I can’t understand why the msrp is over 1k as it’s basically stickers

I wasn’t posting as it was an entitlement ! It’s called sending out 15 emails to dealers and responded to the cheapest one !
I didn’t care where it came from as I would have picked up ..

I've seen a lot of dealers hit you with unexpected non negotiable dealer installed add ons in order to sell you the truck at X price. Dealers know the market and they're not giving these things away despite the enticing intro pricing to get the phone to ring.

There was a 1200 dollar fee on top of original quote which was disclosed after taking with dealer. 66300 our the door.

Things change, but when I was searching several months back, every under sticker deal I called on was not real. I'd get excuses about automated systems and interns putting in the wrong price, etc, etc.

$4,600 under sticker raises my BS flag. If I was in the market, I'd call on it just to be sure. But the market is still strong in most areas and if a dealer cannot sell a Raptor at MSRP, he isn't very good at his job.

There isn’t any BS to it !

I actually think that customers purchase fully loaded trucks because they don't know about custom order allocations and not having to purchase all options.

And all dealer orders trucks I have seen have been SCREW's and 802a trucks. More options means more profit for dealers. They will end up selling the truck to someone that doesn't mind pulling stickers off and wasting 2000 dollars because it had 90 percent of what they wanted.

I haven't PERSONALLY seen a 800a/801a SCAB dealer inventory ordered truck.

Straight 8% profit on all options. So a whole $160 extra to the dealer for pushing the tech package. Another $160 for jamming stickers down a customer's throat.

While that might make business sense to you, most dealers are more worried about being stuck with a $70k truck no one wants to buy than wringing an extra $320 profit out of their customers.

Dealers order the vehicles equipped the way their customers want. Shockingly enough, buyers of luxury, over-the-top, completely unnecessary trucks prefer all the options.
