2018 Order Progress

I think I was sitting like this for 3 weeks on my Gen 1. I can't really complain as I put my order in 16 days ago and it was pulled immediately.

You are doing great then. I had a little wait before my order was even pulled. I think what will hold mine back is I ordered from a extremely small 1 allocation dealer. When I say small I'm talking 15-20 new ford vehicles in inventory.

I'm looking for a dealer to purchase a 2018 Raptor. I'm a current 2012 Raptor owner. Any suggestions?? I'm running into the same issue i did back in 2012, Dealers marking them up 12K.

Ordered 5/17 @ MSRP in Memphis TN @ Landers

Silver SCrew, 802a, beadlocks, carbon, tech, tailgate step.

Supposed to be first in line at the dealer, who had allocations in the mid teens last year.

Hoping that the order gets picked up within the first 6 weeks of production for a September delivery.

As an aside, I was going to buy at a different dealer since this one had screwed my order up last year, but on Tuesday the sales manager at the place I was working with called me up and said they were going to ask $10k over this year. I laughed and told him good luck with that.

Why do they do stupid shit like that?

Salesman: "I've got a sure sale here at MSRP, and all we've got to do is write it up. The guy is pissed at our competition, so we couldn't screw this one up if we tried."

Sales Manager: "Hold my beer and hand me the phone."

So this is reallllly weird. But I'm in Memphis too and I was told I'm "first in line for their first 2018" too at Landers. They give you a VIN? I got one. Wondering if we're being *********** now.

LOL, I guess we'll see. I have a VIN and a build week of the 14th - when's yours?

Confirmed that mine was produced on July 17. The status reads "In production - produced". Ford chat thinks that there might be issues with my build that are keeping it from being put on a rail car to my dealer. They still show an ETA of 7/31 to 8/6. Fingers crossed.
