2018 Order Progress

just got word that my order is built and has an updated eta of 9/16--9/22 instead of 9/28. got the window sticker and vin, order was placed on 8/7. im sort of in shock, has anyone else had a turn around this fast on this truck yet? i am just waiting for the delay but instead of a delay i keep getting the process sped up. no idea how but im a happy camper and 0 complaints. Got to say i love my new dealer, might have to make all of my future purchases out of state just for the service.

Do you know what the build date was?

No, was told it was susposed to be built this week but I guess it was built by the end of last week. Not certain what day.

Raptor in SE Texas

Raptor delivered 1 day before Harvey hit. Thirty two inches of water cleareance came in handy. We live near Beaumont Texas which experienced signigicant flooding. We were able to use the truck to help friends and family with flooded homes. Thankfully our home was not damaged but our little to was totally isolated due to flooded roadways. Recovery in progress. Go Texas

No water in cab running in high water. Did not go in water lower than 32 inches, water up to top of tires. Took her for a ride today hooked up to 5000# trailer. Average 11 mpg conservative driving 60 mph. Average 18 MPG mixed solo. Just so you know what to expect.

I think the main differences are just tech. The 802 has more tech goodies than the 801.

No tailgate applique, no graphics, no sunroof, no carbon fiber, no beadlocks

Ordered from dealer on 7/16/17
Build date on 8/26/17
Awaiting info to populate on the ETIS system
Dealer suspects delivery around 9/17/17. I think that might be optimistic considering I have the spray in bed-liner, but i'll update here with final date so others can use it as reference.

Can't wait!

Update. Truck was delivered to the dealer in West Virginia yesterday 9/6/17. I won't be picking it up for another week and half since I'm in south Florida. I'm just glad it will be missing this hurricane.
