My experience was a lot like Frank N's, but with a bit of a larger dealership. My sales guy was/is great and he too introduced me to the IM. Both were very forthcoming with information regarding allocations once they knew I had a clue after reading everything I could on this and other forums about allocations (the two links someone else posted earlier are great resources). Same thing as Frank N, I was first in line for an '18 unless the owners had other ideas. My dealer got four allocations on the first go round. The owners took the first three and I got the fourth. My sales guy says mine is the first retail sale for an '18 Raptor at my dealership. My order was placed on 6/8, had DORA 6/9, VIN on 6/16 and a build date of 7/26, which held true.
