I have a buddy who works for Ford say you don't want your build date on a Monday, Friday, or after a holiday. Lol
Yeah everyone says that. At least it comes with a warranty.

Maybe nothing to gain per se, but just a really ****** dealer. Are you near the dealer? I would go in person to get the story. My January 2017 order turned into a 2018 order, fine. I called FP and they confirm it is in the system for the week of 7/31/17, and actual build date of 8/6/17. FP will NOT release the VIN to me stating privacy rights... blah blah blah.
My dealer won't release the VIN to me either, stating he only has a partial VIN....
FP confirms that it is a complete VIN.
My question is: What does my dealer have to gain by withholding the VIN?
Thanks
No, He is three states away...
I'll call him again this week, after the 4th holiday.
I decided I would call the sales manager and complain... I did and implied I would pull out of the deal. The salesman emailed me the VIN within an hour.
I'm now on the 'pending' list on raptorfinder.com. Geeze, its like pulling teeth with this guy. I hope the pickup goes smoothly.
I have drilled really hard into the 2018 window stickers that are available, and not a single one has been Ruby Red.Any Ruby Reds scheduled yet?

My update:
It is scheduled to begin production the week of7/17. No ETA at this time. You do have a VIN, but we can't give that out, you have to contact your dealership.
