Lasco Ford here in Fenton Michigan has a 2018 Raptor on the lot now... $69,000 for MSRP, but they are asking $94,000!! a $25,000 markup.... F*** that dealership

I've seen this type of markup on '17s as well at Lasco. A couple months ago they had 3 or 4 '17s on the lot with large (not quite this large) markup as well. Was thinking no wonder they haven't sold them.

I suspect a lot of those listed markups are just price anchoring. Set the perceived value and then close the deal with a big discount in negotiations.

Depends on what you consider a big discount. At the Athens Ford in Georgia. I'm in the market now for a '18 Raptor and spoke with them seriously. Lowest they will go is $15K over MSRP for an '18 and $10K over MSRP for a '17. Sure, that's a "big discount," but still well over what anyone should have to pay.

Avoid like the plague.

Lasco is all over youtube with there videos, I have been there a few times. I did not talk to anyone about buying at the time. I will not be buying anything from them in the future after what you just mentioned. I got my 17 at msrp from suburban ford. Great dealer to work with.

Got my 17 at MSRP from a dealer an hr away from nashville. Once I let them know I was willing to travel to exotic lands like Texas for a deal, they came down pretty quick.
