2018 and 2019 Alarm System Recommendations

1.) At what position should the sensitivity dial be set.
2.) What is this jumper for...and should it be installed
3.) The red and blue wire is the optional led light, however where should it be located/installed for those of you that got this as well.

1) most folks set dial to 3/4, i had to go to full, its a clock wise turn to full.
2) i did not get that jumper, but others say it to disable the alarm system for when you are in a high vibration area.
3) mine is up from the install area, just pulled the trim out, and pulled light to where I liked it. See picture below.

Will this also work for the 2020. Cant believe you pay 70k for a truck and they don’t put shock sensors on it

If you want a more permanent and finished mounting area for the LED light, you can pop off and drill a hole in the cover that is the ‘17-‘18 pre collision lights or In the case of a ‘19-‘20 truck just a snap in filler cover. I installed the LED as far right on the cover to get the best visibility of it from the outside.

Worst case if you hate it, you can buy a cheap cover at the dealer to replace it. The install looks very OEM.
