Seems unlikely. @photoneffect has identified >14,000 VINS for MY17 Raptors. ~10,000 of them built to date: https://www.racinenorth.com/raptor/
My Oct 15 Build was identified correctly on the list. No reason to discount it.

I spoke to Ford Performance over the phone and the guy said we was expecting at least 25,000 raptors to be built for MY2017, and said maybe more if the dealers reorder after selling there allotted allocations

We've been told that Raptors come down the assembly line interspersed with other F150's, so I don't think I would place a lot of value in the VIN numbers as telling how many Raptors have been built.

I think there will be quite a bit. My dealer had 5 allocations and is hoping to get 2 more I'm sure the 17 will out sell any other year to date.

I would laugh so hard at all the Gen1 guys who shit on the Gen2 for not being limited if the first year of production was lower than all years of the Gen1. Something like 10k+ for 2010 and 22k+ for 2014. We shall see it could all be BS or they have a parts shortage. My dealer was told they were done with allocation and wouldn't be getting anymore more.

Same here. Dealer told me 7 allocations for year back in July. Talked to dealer yesterday, and the yearly allocations for 2017 are locked in at 7. All spoken for, of course, ages ago.

A quick look at the VIN list: https://www.racinenorth.com/raptor/
Along with some basic knowledge of the codes associated with Raptors (5,6,7th digits)http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f260/vin-question-51934/#post1089119 provides the facts.

Edit: Struck last line, no need for smart-ass comments.

It seems likely that 2017 gen2's will outsell even the highest of the gen1 model years.

If Photoneffect's list is any indication:'17 has already surpassed '10 numbers[10.4k] and is on track to be right in the middle, between '12 and '13's production numbers[14.2k].

On a separate note, I'd like to see how the 24 units designated "Military" were moded out. They left the factory in a variety of colors and configurations.
