2017 low mileage 30k miles or 2018 50k miles?

Hi everyone,
Was wondering which you would consider if buying used. I'd like to keep my limit to $55k. It seems dealers are selling 2018 with 50k+ miles with 802 package at around $55k. Has anyone seen prices lower? Do you think 50k miles on a 2018 is excessive? Do 2017 models comprise problems the 2018 fixed? Which would you consider if buying used? Never thought I'd consider a raptor but here I am... was about to pull trigger on a mid grade lariat.

Advertisement is Houston for a 2019 is 6k off of MSRP. I think you could do even better with some negotiating.

20 years..... this gen 2 has a 1 year life with 50 trips to dealership for problems. Save yourself another 15 to 20k and go for a 2014 or 2015 gen1, thats a good long term vehicle. or buy a fully loaded tundra trd> that is for sure a 20+ year truck.

Get a 2017 with less miles. Exact same as the 2018. My 2017 with almost 40k miles has been perfect. Just oil changes and a set of tires. Not a single issue. Got 2 buddies with 2017’s as well. No issues.

Sure, if you want a spark plug spitting, fuel pump frying, gas guzzling, baby sunroof sportin, no adaptive cruise control having, 600 lbs. of extra ferrous (rust) metal heftin, 2.5 shocking, go for a Gen 1. 2015 though?

Tag and tax diff between 55k and 65k is probably not that much. If you're getting a loan, better rates for new anyway. Bumper to bumper warranty is probably easily worth the difference. It just makes sense.

I just bought a 2018 802a trim package with 30,100 miles on it for 56k in Colorado. I’d dig a little deeper and continue shopping

I just bought a 2019 brand new for $65K with 802A, Spray in Liner, Technology Package etc..
