Who wants to cut the frame on a brand new truck? CA considers a frame cut truck salvage/rebuilt

It's up to the insurance company to total the vehicle and then report to the DMV. At that point, the vehicle has a "salvage title". You can apply to have a "revived salvage" title with the DMV if you can prove that all of the parts that were damaged were fixed.

Not sure where you are getting your info but feel free to send us a link. My truck was in an accident and the insurance company looked at it and totaled it for reasons other than the bumpers. In fact, that didn't even come up in discussion with the adjuster.

A Ford Dealer that we sell to in CA told us that. Im sure you can get away with it & its hard to notice, but if they wanted to hassle you over it technically they could.

Everyone does, i cut my frame a couple days after it arrived to me from the factory line.

Everybody that doesn't want your crap that's who. Also don't spew BS either. I live in Cali have had two frame replacements via insurance with frame horns cut both times and still no salvage title or rebuilt title. I get it you're a vendor, but you all act you're the end all be all and your stuff is cheaply made and overpriced.

So you're entitled to your opinion but we aren't? WE dont like the idea of cutting the frame on a Raptor, if you are, by all means go for it.

How do we act like we are the end all be all? If we thought our competitors were better than us what kind of company would we be? Now if I came on here & started bad mouthing the competition that's another story. You're more than welcome to come tour our facility & see how our "cheaply made products" are made.
