Can you explain what tune is available at TRR this weekend? If SCT isnt ready and HP now has support. I assume you will be using HP to tune this weekend?

What are the differences between the two? I assume its just the tuner thats different? Are the tunes different? Is SCT preferred? Sorry for the questions. This info will probably help several people that are wondering in general.

Stinks sct is still behind, I jumped aboard the HPT ship earlier this week, got tracking update yesterday  Any way to get the PCM strategy via a more standard OBD reader? Or just need to wait for a tuner handheld? I do have an efi live device for other car

Only way to get the file structure we need for the software it to read it via the device. Once we have the read file we will start writing your tune.

This is insane, I bought my tuner back in November 2016.
unreal and disappointed!

It has been a great disappointment to us as well. Especially since they were first to market in 2015 and 2016. Our tunes are 100% complete for a variety of software applications. We just don't have device support for all of them yet.

If you'd like to swap the X4 for the HP we can do so easily. The only extra would the difference in tuners. You'd still get the preorder savings from your earlier order.

Can you PM me the cost of the N gauge and Performance tune vs Laptop flash and Performance tune? Will you have the tuner available if I decide to go this route on Saturday? Im fine with a laptop flash as well.

Last question - Does it require the purchase of two tunes for the PCM and the transmission? I read that somewhere.

We appreciate that! If you change your mind let me know. Not worried about the box or other items. We were lead to believe the release would of came earlier, but we are in support of them releasing a good product and not one rushed to market.

That I will! We will also have tuners with us and a signup sheet for install time as well.

As for the tunes, yes, the engine and trans each require multiple licences to flash.

Damn... I dont know much about the HP Tuners, I may be interested in this! the only reason I went with the X4 is because I had an X3 from you guys for my last truck! So I am not brand specific, and if I can get a tune now instead of 2 months from now Im all about it! I pretty much use the tuner once and put it in the pocket behind the seat. Mine is all still in the box as well!

It'll have a window mount with it to give you a few more options for mounting locations.
