Good luck with paintless dent repair on those aluminum doors...


Two months after we got the 370Z, we had a hail storm. The aluminum hood had three dime size dents. I figured the same thing, but the dent guy rocked it. I knew where they were and I couldn't find any evidence they were ever there. The guy does all of the high end dealerships in the area. He said as long as it isn't too sharp or creased, it can be done.

The Z also has aluminum door skins and they have proven to be pretty resillient.

Yes, the right guy does wonders. However, I've seen lesser folks attempt it and the results were worse than where it started. This too, all depends on how thick the paint is going to be, if Ford goes too thin, it will be prone to cracking when working the dent (even if heated) - I'm sure they'll get it right, but just not something I'm a huge fan of.


I'll give you a dollar if you can push out my Mountain Dew can dents and make it like new :ROFLJest:
