What if I start the season in sportsman and mod the truck to the point I can't be In Sportsman

Your points only count in the group you are in for that event.

So say you won the 1st sportsman event. Then did dual shocks and won the 2nd event in sportsman.

You would have 100 points in each group.

You could then remove the secondary shock for the 3rd event and return to sportsman if so desired.

Make sense?

Sorry it's midnight in japan and I'm exhausted from traveling.

What have you been breaking?

Yukon Joe

Not so much breaking as wearing out.

Starting last spring my front coilovers went bad, so I replaced them (thanks @ICONRep). Once that was done, I realized my upper control arms were toast, so replaced them (thanks @svc). Then lost a half shaft just before winter, so I replaced that (thanks Jack Demmer Ford). Then I sent in my rear shocks and bump stops to be rebuilt, but still need to install those. That took over 3 months, and still waiting on the bump stops.

Now it feels like the tie rods or lower control arms are misbehaving. Just have not had the chance to investigate those yet... but it feels like one of both are gone. Not to mention I still need new tires and a bad IWE.

But that is life of an 80,000+ mile truck. It would not be so bad if the other two vehicles at home were not in similar shape. At least it is spring / summer and I can use the car once I get that fixed.

Hey guys we have invested quite a bit into the track this year so I think you will be very happy. It's looking like we are adding about 3/4 of a mile to the time attack track and even more for the next event so there's some very cool stuff to look for in the next few months. May be we can get some spice photos this weekend as we are finishing a few areas.
