So, if you follow the link on the Ford website, it only lets you build a 2014 F-150. But I found a link that will let you build a 2015 F-150.

2015 Ford F-150: Build and Price | Ford

Nice find

just lil strange the "XL" and "XLT" have the better looking grill
while the "Platinuim" has all the gadgets i want.

Wow! This might just be my favorite 2015 yet! Very tasteful build and looks like a mean mini-Super Duty!

to bad it as risr kit on it ... ( clearly visible crossmember extension )
instead of true suspension travel increase

You're correct. It's just a lift kit. And it appears to be a Stage 1 (cheap) lift kit. However, it is possible to make a lifted truck ride like a Cadillac. But a truck like that is built purely for looks, not suspension travel, and it looks pretty good to me.

Notice how a v8 is an engine option. This pretty much answers the question whether a v8 will be offered.

I don't ever remember it being said that there wouldn't be a V8, just that the 6.2L was no longer available.

Available motors include: 2.7L EB V6, 3.5L NA V6, 3.5L EB V6, and 5.0L NA V8.

The latest rumor is that the new motor from the Mustang GT350 (formally announced on November 17), which will be a high-revving 5.2L with a flat-plane crankshaft capable of 550hp, could be the next-gen Raptor motor. But at this point, it's purely speculation.
