They sure fu cking do. These Blitzkrieg UCA's are specific to just the G1, but I never asked it they would clear (larger diameter) G2 coilovers & a raised coil bucket.
I think MOST aftermarket uca's will hit like that. The other option, more uca space, and you'll be topping out on the shock internals or the CV joint bind, both of which have horrible consequences. We all, myself included, need that Evil Offroad weld-in limit strap kit!! Has anyone heard from those guys? Did they really close their doors :/ ??

How does their kit attach to the LCA's? It's a situation where there's only difficult solutions. Attaching a limit strap/cable to the UCA or upright might clear, but you'd need a crazy mount above it. The LCA needs either a clumsy steel bracket or welding to the aluminum LCA's. My only other idea is to clock the coil spring about 90° to reduce the contact..... any other ideas?

Yup. I have a set of the larger diameter axles I couldn't use, because Screenshot_20241017-103431_Gallery.jpgthey won't clear SVC coil adjusters on G2 shocks. I didn't feel like grinding that billet aluminum coil adjuster.

The Evil Offroad limit strap kit came with about a 13" limit strap and it bolted onto the LCA in an existing hole at the bottom, and up top it had a steel plate mount that you welded onto your frame/shock tower area. They had a vid on their site, the welding was no big deal. It was designed for our trucks, and it was only $200!! I'm kickin' myself for not buying one a year or two ago, cuz now their site is down, vid is gone.

I could measure and verify the approx areas from memory and we could fab them ourselves. We all need 'em!! Anyone who has this kit, please share specs with us ;) !!

So their design used the shock bolt to secure the bottom of the strap (in front), with some kind of offset to clear the tie rod? Similar to the Foutz design in the photo?Screenshot_20250205-133050_Chrome.jpg

I just sent an inquiry to Foutz Motorsports to see if their Gen2/3 limit strap system can be modified to fit a Gen 1. Cross your fingers.
