2014 order status thread

I called a dealer this weekend and he told me the wait is usually or will be around 16 weeks if I order. He sold 50 raptors last year and currently has 8 on order I didn't read all of the pages but are things moving faster than that?

He told me if I wanted a '14 the latest I could/should order is April. (If I did it would be January.) Does this sound about right?

I am kind of waiting for any news to come out about '15. I have heard and read the rumors on here and other places.

I will never have another black truck again it's like a dust magnet i never had the much trouble before, does anyone elese have this problem.

It took me right at 16 weeks to get my Raptor, I orderd it the middle of March 2013 and it arrived July first. The last i heard the allotted number for like Oklahoma if you don't order was like 700 the dealer wasn't going to get a raptor for selling so many ford 150's. The 700 were going to be disturbed to dealers , I could be wrong dont quot me on this.

Once the dealer gives me the VIN, how long afterwards does it take for it to be built?

How long after getting the VIN, can you look up the sticker?

M what I've seen looks like you'll have to wait until 2016..skipping 15 raptor...who knows what engine and transmission they'll have in it? I made the decision to order a 14 bc if they do change everything I would not want the first year model..I would have to wait until 2017 to get one. Would rather have the last year model than the first year model...with fords big push on the Ecoboost thing I'm kind of afraid to see what will happen to the new ones....but then again ford made the raptor while everyone else was trying to save MPGs so who knows lol

My salesman, Oliver, called me back.
My Raptor is at the rail yard. It's awaiting transport to the dealership.
The ETA for delivery is Dec 4. Oliver said it could be sooner though.
He mentioned it could be delivered anytime between Nov 27 thru Dec 4.

I started getting some of my mods, tools, rags and other things into a suitcase. LOL
These will be installed on the dealer lot (Moroso air-oil catch can/D-bug screen/Fords Fuel Filler Plug).

You're not wasting anytime!

Congrats!! Its a great looking truck...... wtf is up with us having non stop rain as soon as these Raptors come in!?!

How long does it take to get a VIN? I ordered on 10/21 and my order is still "processing." It was placed as a customer order with a priority of 10. Be nice to see some movement. Especially as I see some guys who ordered in similar times getting delivery or build weeks.

Ordered mine on 10-29 my order was a priority 20..got my vin last week and a build week of 12-9...shouldn't be that much longer..

I ordered mine on 11/14 and the DORA came back as priority 99. I figured it was 99 because dealer has 20 already in the hopper. I figure I just need to wait my turn until they can lower the priority once the other ones go to order?
