Hey guys

I have a 2014 raptor with around 200K miles on it

I recently got a check engine light pop up (of course a week before my inspection is due) and i checked the codes:

P0420 and P0430

What are the chances its just my downstream and upstream O2 sensors?

If im being honest, im not looking to spend money on a new cat if thats the issue

It could also be an exhaust leak maybe? just based on what im reading.

Any advice would be great! Thanks

Assuming this is not a prius.......

But

Nobody is ever looking to spend money on a cat so....

Clean the MAF sensor

How old are the O2 sensors? If original then they might be issue, they are tired. Thats the first thing I would swap out.

How old are the plugs and wires? They might not be burning as efficiently as needed.

These are the two first things to check, least cost vs. A cat.
