2014 Build tips and advice

Well it's official, bought a 2014 Black Raptor 55k traded in my car for 20k. Only thing I'm missing is the SE package, which when it comes down to it should I miss out on buying a raptor for red and black interior and rims that I don't like that much and would replace anyways? I think not. Should be here next week, it was on its way to the dealership it had everything I wanted but the SE and graphics packages. But the graphic packages I feel I didn't like much anyways if I want the hood graphic I could always get it vinyl wrap like everyone does anyways.

That deal sounds pretty close to MSRP. I figured around $55890. Invoice would be around $51433. I thought initially you were wanting a $58k Raptor, so I can see you changing that to get to the exact $35k deal you wanted. And the big plus, you don't have to wait. As long as you are happy with the deal, that is all that matters. Enjoy that Raptor and you wont regret the tailgate step if you ever end up using the bed quite a bit, I really like mine.

I got good news today too, found out my Raptor finally got a build week, Jan 27th.

Yeah I wasn't ever going with the Ruby Red color it was always the Tux black, and I kept pushing for a 58k raptor because of the SE package, and my main point was the red and black interior, I'm not crazy about any of the three types of Raptor rims, I wanted to replace even the bead locks, so what was I paying the extra 3k for red and black interior, I mean Black works there is nothing wrong with it, and that's what it came down because if I did push for the Red and Black interior I would have never closed a deal because no one was going to meet what I wanted to do, this way I'm still at the 36k loan amount and I still have a 2014 raptor and I get it next week with 95% of what I wanted, I could careless about the exterior graphics I think I like it without them anyways I like the cleaner look to it

I saw I think 4 Raptors today, while I was out Christmas shopping. I was over in Cary and I saw I think 2 2010s or 2011s and I think 2 2013's all four were Black and I don't think any were modded at all.
