2013 vent shade wind noise

Anyone else have AVS vent shades on their truck? They are in channel and it seems like the window isn't making a good seal. The wind noise is driving me crazy.

I like the look but they are pissing me off

I have the external ones and I get wind noise from them to. Probably not quite the same as whats causing yours but I have considered removing mine because at highway speeds they literally drown out the exhaust, radio, and wife. Oh wait maybe I'll keep them in.

Are you sure your windows are all the way up and sealed? I know there is a how-to somewhere on this forum on retraining your auto up windows. If you havent retrained them maybe you could start there.

I'm surprised your AVS "in-Channel" vents even worked.

I installed them and had to return as my front windows would not close all the way.

Exchanged them for the AVS outside vents...and no issues with windows or wind noise.

I tried the Weather Tech in-channel vent shades over the winter and it was a total nightmare. I didn't have any wind noise compared to my old AVS stick ons I had on my 2010. But, in the short few days I had them my windows wouldn't go up, they scratched the hell out of my window glass. and then to top it off the drivers side cracked at the corner. I returned them and decided no vent shades this time around.

I have the AVS inchannel ones and I don't have an issue wtih wind noise. Getting the front windows re-trained was a PITA, but I'm happy with them now. Just make sure you install them little "V" plastic clips IAW instructions or they never shut right. Good Luck!
