I have read that Roush Performance Exhaust is the perfect fit for SVT Raptor, what are the difference between side vs rear location?
Which one is most common?
Not quite, I had to cut some piping off when i had mine installed in my scab. I would say shotgun rear exit would be the most common but who knows its kinda hard differentiating what kinda brand is on a side exhaust since they pretty much look alike and I'm sure only a few can spot out by tone alone. With the rear exit you know exactly that it's a roush exhaust. If you like loud aggressive vehicles and don't mind a little drone then go for it
I don't have any experience with dirty deeds exhaust and I'm sure it's a great setup due to me seeing lots of members recommending it to one another but aesthetically speaking I think the roush looks nicer. I know it's a controversial topic with the rear setup with roush because some people like the look and some totally hate it. When I had first order my exhaust I was second guessing myself because i didn't know if I truly liked how it looked in pictures I had seen but once I had it installed I was really pleased and think it gives the truck a sportier/meaner look.
