There is an old saying - you'd bitch if you were hung with a new rope.

Well, I love my raptor, so Im not complaining. Anyone who buys Fords and keeps up with the newer models knows Ford will do some tweaking to every year. Its not enough to trade up every year, but imagine someone driving around in a 2007 GT500 right now. About 475 HP, no nav even, no sync, no recaros, no HIDs....on and on. A 2013 GT500 has 50% more power, and the amenities it has makes it not even in the same class.

I think the 2013 raptor will have a couple things, but if they keep building them, I suspect in a few years it will move to a ecoboost to help with mpg issues...

not so sure on the ecoboost, my friend has a '12 with a 4'' lift and 315's and is getting 12 miles per gallon. They are awesome with stock tires but with the bigger tires the gas mileage aint anything to write home about. imo

changing from what the manufacture designed would have some effect... Why would someone lift the truck, increase the tire size then expect to get any mileage... and post that his truck gets ****** mileage...

Hey! I drive an 07 GT500! Looking for something fun to drive on wet days or as an option, or even to trailer gt500 to track. As for lack of power..well that's what modding is for..
