I would like to see a bare bones Raptor. No frills. If it doesn't help it go, turn, or stop, it doesn't go on the truck. How about a standard cab with a 6.5ft bed, no carpet, light weight bucket seats, no a/c, no radio, etc. Spend the money on weight savings and performance.

They already make something similiar to that. It's called an F150 XL :ROFLJest:

They do have a fleet version of the raptor. Not sure how you go about getting one but that would be closer to your bare bone raptor.

My demands (non negotiable :D ):

* 500HP (Super EcoBoost would be OK)
* HID headlights
* Switchable sway bars (from inside the vehicle - if Jeep can do it so can Ford)
* Improved SYNC with uploadable maps!!!
* Heated and cooled seats
* USB in center console
* More grab handles
* Adjustable headrests (fore & aft)
* More detents in the door opener hardware
* Longer wires on the Upfitter Switches (PULEEZ!)
* Tie down system along the floor
* Optional lights in the bed
* Spare tire filler extension

And...

* Movable letters in the grill so we can spell other words besides "FORD" :D

They do have heated and cooled seats, at least mine does.
Remote start for Canadian Raptors would be nice.

I don't yet have one, but I'm in the market. Here's what I want. Of course, I'm omitting exhaust, headers, tune, air-take and wheels.

- Keyless Go (ala everybody else)
- Bi-Xenons with off road mode to prevent leveling
- Go on a significant diet.
- Improved speakers and amps
- Onboard air compressor
- Multiple USB ports in console. Sometimes more than 1 person needs a charge for their phone at a time.
- TPMS that shows each tire's pressure. Let the driver determine when it's low based on the information provided.
- Any HP increase.
- Resolution of frame-bending issues through better design. Licensing solutions already provided by the vendors here on the forum would solve the problem, and the R&D has already been done.
- Get rid of the spacer and put in some legitimate leaf springs. Do it right!

I wouldn't be hard-pressed to venture that anyone buying a Raptor has some mechanical inclination and is an enthusiast. It's not a vehicle for the peaks of the bell curve of the driving populace.

Agreed on the remote start. It's ridiculous that they come standard in the US with the lux package but not in Canada. Especially considering we are roughly paying a $10,000 premium on our trucks.

The only big improvement I could think of would be factory HID's, but they would have to be pretty robust to deal with the beating a Raptor can put out.

I think for 95% of owners the stock Raptor is fine, bump kits and quality leaf packs are geared towards a small percentage of owners who actually run their trucks hard. It would be interesting to add up the sales of these kits from all vendors and compare it to the total volume of sales, probably not a very high percentage.

I would be happy with these

2013 Ford F-Series Super Duty: Touch The Platinum

The 2013 Super Duty will have "MyFordTouch" on its SYNC system. Basically, this is a redundant set of controls - "tactile button controls and large rotating knobs to accommodate truck users who may be wearing work gloves".

I would guess that will make it to the Raptor, but that's just a guess.

Make a bare bones available.

Also, Go crazy with performance and luxury options.

Such that the Raptor would have a price range of $35,000 to $70,000.

All that said, if they change nothing I'd be happy.
