Heads up Greg. I'm not sure if the rally goes through Ohio, but I just drove down there and back tonight and they have solar powered radar guns on random highway signs. Not every sign has one but a ******* sped by me in a pos Toyota celica, and sure enough, Troopers flew by me to go get him. Came out of no where, and I'm usually really good at spotting cops.

Greg, Ohio is one if the worst states for troopers. We typically see many of the on our travels through that state. Keep an eye out.

I am relatively sure this is going to be a coastal run. In several press releases and announcements. The organizers have mentioned "Arcadian Run" in these announcements. Several google searches looking up "Arcadian" and we have a good idea of possible routes, and stops..

Alright people, we had several people PM me and offer to help us out and it looks like we may need even more. Word is that several of the other team have very sophisticated and expensive GPS and/or cell phone jamming equipment. We will have a good set of maps but it would certainly be nice for us to be able to get some "eyes" on these other vehicles and maybe some distance as well.

I know the top contender is sporting a very expensive and difficult to obtain barrage jammer. It is basically the same they used in Iraq... It effectively jams 20-3000Mhz, so it makes gps, cell, cb, vhf, frs, and wifi basically useless within 1 mile ( depending on antennas, terrain, etc).

It is an hell of an idea, but the risks are not worth it.. If caught using it you can face up to $11,000, confiscate equipment (car, radio, etc), and possible jail time.
