Hi there, my first post and this thread has me very interested. I am curious if they are still keeping the Orange Accent interior in 2012 if they aren't making Molten Orange. Must say I'm sad to see orange go. It was the signature colour of the Raptor. If it really was orange, I would have loved to get one but every single time I have seen one it looks red and I hate red.

I have been into the dealer to get a black one with orange accent interior and I was told that I probally wouldn't be able to get a 2011 one anymore as its too late in the year. So just curious if anyone knows if the orange accent interior will still be alive if the molten orange isn't!

My thoughts are they will change the interior to match the new Red exterior.

2011's definitely have an orange accent interior (mine has it) but, as has been said before, Molten Orange and the matching accent interior color will go away in 2012. Somewhere on the Errornet, there is a production/order date schedule listed for Ford vehicles that was posted on this forum. My memory could be wrong but IIRC, you can order a 2011 with the orange accent interior up to sometime in August. My guess is, that cut off date could come sooner depending on available supplies as they have already suspended navigation availability for all remaining 2011 orders.

Unfortunately I live in Alberta Canada, not too sure where your located although Im really considering ordering from the states as I have heard a couple stories of guys saving 10G off the price we pay here. I meean $64G for a raptor is ridiculous but they will get it!!!!

I'm really disapointed that the orange accent interior would be gone! I'm torn between which route to go. Get a 2011 Black on Black, with Orange accent interior, I want Fully Loaded, Moon-roof, Nav etc...

If ecoboost ever came out that would be great!! I would love to have cooled seats that might be coming in 2012 as well. Red isn't for me in any way, and wouldn't be interested in a red accent interior...To save that bit of fuel cause although mine will see the dirt of the prairies, it is also a daily driver that the fuel economy would be nice. But on the other hand I cant wait to smoke all my Dodge branded buddies with the 6.2L. I guess thats why I work the oil patch, to support the industry that fuels my vehicles hahaha....

Is it for sure comfirmed that the accent is gone??? I was told by another dealer that they could still get one custom ordered for me.

If I remember correctly on the thread that Randy posted with the 2012 stuff, there is going to be a new accent package, but they don't know what colors are going to be in it yet.

Will be very interesting to see what comes out, but its hard to know what to do not knowing what 2012 will hold. Cause if Im going to order a 2011 I have to do it now or else I wait.

From the phone number, The area code is from Montana so depending where the both of you are, you can just drive down there and spend a day or so in the US then drive the truck back.

I agree on the price tho, 10-15 thousand more is ridiculous cause its the same truck but ford states "its more expensive to ship parts to Canada"
