The Raptor in general is an outstanding 4x4 vehicle, no matter what year. With the addition on Torsen front diff, just adds to its offroad capibility. The addition of two speed automatic 4 wheel drive. The 2012 Raptor should be an amazing off and on road vehicle!
so you think i should wait for a 2012?

I currently have 2011 SCab, and for me a 2012 SCrew is worth the upgrade.

Since I am still not able to drive after rotator cuff surgery. My wife has been driving my 2011 raptor instead of her 2010 xterra. So I might sell her xterra and let her keep the 2011 SCrew.

Happy wife = happy life!

you've waited this long man, if you anything else your resale will probably be better than if u buy an end of the model year 2011. it's a year old the second you drive it off the lot!

Ford tested the limited slip in the front for the 10's. Too much torque steer during acceleration at speed in the sand/desert, so it was shelved. Not sure what kind was tested at that time, maybe the Torsen style is the fix?? I'm interested to see how it works for people, since its not like you can turn it on or off like the eaton in the rear.

My '08 Toyota has a locking Torsen center diff. so it'll probably trickle down to Ford at some point in the future.

Haha. Damn I wanted to get you fired up.:flamingdevil:

Yes but it's throwin' a fault code again for some reason so I'm going by the dealer tomorrow and have him try to relearn my sensors. Thanks Steve.
