2012 Exhaust Different?

Hey All..

Is the 2012 exhaust different? I just sold my 2010 6.2 and replaced it with a 2012 and the new truck is MUCH quieter. I loved how my 2010 sounded. Might have to get a cat back for this one. Thoughts?

yes, the 2012 6.2 is quieter than my 2011 6.2....

Maybe the exhaust on your 2012 needs to get broken in like your 2010.

the reason its so much quiter then your 10 is in 11 ford added a resonator before the muffler which quieted it down considerably. the more you know.. g.i. joeeeeeee...

That is what I suspected! I looked under it with a buddy tonight and thought it looked different. Looks like that sucker needs to come off! It is flanged on one end and slip fit on the other......
