There aren't a ton of differences between model years.

#1 - There is no Molten Orange exterior color nor an orange interior package in 2012 so if you see either of those colors it's a safe bet it's a 2011 or someone paid a lot of money to retrofit their 2012.

#2 - 2012's have a front facing camera though you'd have to get pretty close to see that.

#3 - 2012's have a blue accent interior option that is unique to this model year so if you seen that, see the last part of point #1..

Did I miss anything?

no the 2011 does not have the torsen front diff. The 2011 had the interior option, however the 2012's replaced that with a blue accent interior option now an the previous option is no longer available for 2012's

The 6.2 is not designed to run off e85, just says so in the book. No reason.

really why is this

The PCM calibration won't allow to run on E85, the fuel pump is different from that of flex fuel vehicle. Raptor doesn't have flex fuel module. since the superduty with derated power is flex fuel it makes me think raptor calibration can't handle different air/fuel ratio with the power increase without damaging the engine. Just my thought though
