2010 vs. 2012 miles to empty warnings

My 2010 raptor (which was stolen) had two warnings when fuel was running low one at 50 miles and one at 25. My new 2012 seems to be different. Warning came on at 49, 26, 35, and 38. Shouldn't the warnings be the same the dealer is clueless SVT is also clueless. What is everyone's experience.

I have a 2011 screw and it varies. Sometimes it comes on at 40-50 than will go away the next time I start my truck. Than come back at around 30. I think it just depends on how your driving

How did your truck get stolen?

I was on a caribou hunting trip in Quebec. The lot was supposedly secure with 24/7 security and they stole it in the middle of the day. Montreal police don't really care, its just paper work for them. The police did tell me that they recovered my plates and administration and that it was a professional ring that stole my truck. they think the truck is still in Quebec and has been re-sold under a fake vin. I think the ******** that run the lot were in on it.

Thats Terrible. So much for 24/7 Security. I would have been so pissed. Glad you got a new 2012 though.

On my shelby it activates at 50 to e, then when you reset it it comes in again after 3 miles. If you turn it off, then on it comes on instantly if you're below 50.

Everything worked out I now have h/c seats front camera and torsen that the 2010 did not have. My insurance company was actually pretty good on the value of the 2010.

Minecomes on randomly, no set exact amount of fuel left it seems. Yesterday it came on, when it said 51 kms left until empty.
