Here's a general guide using New Cars, Used Cars, Car Reviews and Pricing - Edmunds.com . Dealers generally use edmunds as one of their guides for trade-in values and with the release of the 2011 Raptor looming I figured there would be some guys thinking about trading up.

GUIDE SHOWN IS OUTSTANDING CONDITION
Exceptional mechanical, exterior and interior condition; requires no reconditioning

CLEAN CONDITION( + $0)
Some normal wear but no major mechanical or cosmetic problems; may require limited reconditioning

AVERAGE CONDITION ($-2,611 $-2,829 $-2,942)
May have a few mechanical and/or cosmetic problems and may require a considerable amount of reconditioning

ROUGH CONDITION($-5,499 $-6,017 $-6,382)
Several mechanical and/or cosmetic problems requiring significant repairs

Colors:
For Molten Orange($114 $125 $134)

Mileage:
GUIDE SHOWN IS FOR 10,000mi
5,000mi ($146 $146 $146)
15,000mi ($-416 $-416 $-416)
20,000mi ($-839 $-839 $-839)

To use this guide simply start with the base price at the top of the chart and then add or subtract the amounts based on your options, mileage and condition:

Looking to trade in my 2010 5.4 fully loaded Raptor with 70,000 miles on it but what the dealer is offering and what edmunds/KBB are saying doesn't seem to match. Can someone point me to a thread that has what others have got for their trade in's? I've tried various searches.

Dealer was originally offering $28k and just now bumped up to $30k to try and make a deal on the 2013 that just came in. They did offer to swap my ADD bumper over to the new one for me though.

I'm thinking its worth around $33k-$35k

Any input would be great.

You and I live in the arm pit for dealers trading in trucks. But once they have the truck you bet he is going to go to 50k for sale... He wont get it but will settle around 43k and make a ton of cash. your better off putting an ad up yourself and shoot for the moon. You know the dealers sitting out there and you could probably bump the dealer to 33 to 34k... But its a fight and you have to ask yourself is it worth it to fight. What your paying for the new one should be a big factor in your estimates also... The dealers got to make money somewhere..

I'd go private buyer. My kbb came up with about $37k private party. I wouldn't wanna wait either but selling it yourself is usually the smarter route. Plus that $7k can go a long way.

Right now we are at MSRP for the fully loaded 2013 Screw that just came in.

They had it marked up $10K like most northern california dealers but since I just bought another company vehicle from them and have been a long time customer they dropped it to MSRP and won't budge on anymore so far.

Very true. I'm posting it on Craigslist now. The dealer said he has 3 more coming in set up exactly the same in the next month so I have some time if we can't make a deal on this one.

I traded my white 2010 with 65,000 miles last year for $31,000. They ended up selling it for $36,000. Original sticker was $45,000.

my imput on this is i was just offered 35k for my loaded 2011 with 26k on it. as a trade in.... then i whent to the next dealer and was offered 38 witch was a little better they called today offering another grand but i turned them down. and if your 2010's are getting that i would hope my 11 is in the 42-45 ish range. but i can say they were going to give me a steal of a price on the new raptor. were going to sell it to me loaded every option for 51350 was a hard deal to walk away from.
