20 x 9.5 with +15 offset rubbing issues?

The wheel offset calculator does not lie. A 9.5" wide wheel w/ 15mm offset will stick out 32mm (1.25") more than the stock 8.5" wide wheel w/ 34mm offset.

Except it does lie because this calculator says 19mm (0.7"). This one also shows their math (if you reacall your school days, that is required for your answer to be correct) with diagrams.

For the OP. We just had a customer install 20x9.5 +18 so with in 3mm of what you're looking at.

Should be good. Maybe the slightest rub at full lock if it’s a 17-18

9.5" wide +22 factory tires.

That's one of the problems with larger wheels - they are usually wider. Another is that they are more susceptible to curb damage with less sidewall, not to mention the offroad concerns.
