The Black 2019 Raptor had 20’s as well, but the previous owner didn’t change out the spare to the same wheel. I made the remark in another thread that it was changed out, but when I was able to really look today I noticed it was the stock spare. While I was thinking about it I did a quick search on stock wheels for Raptors and they are expensive.

they should be....12” wide forged multi-piece bead lock capable wheels tend to be lol! The base cast ones def cheaper

I just order me a 20x10 Gear Offroad Barricade wheel and tire package, thinking about keeping the Oem setup. I like the look of a 20" on the Gen2. I get the kick back on 20's on a Raptor but in SW Louisiana we don't do alot of desert running or rock crawling in this area. Just muddy trails over here, and the 20's would provide a little more ground clearance. To each its own is how I look at it. You're paying your note and insurance so do what you want to your Raptor :33:

My Raptor had 20's on it when I bought it. I absolutely hated the ride on pavement and I actually use mine offroad. I went back to 17's with D rated tires and the difference in ride quality was night and day, both on and off the pavement. Not to mention the traction difference while aired down. I'll never go bigger than 17's on a truck again.

Uhh, a little more ground clearance with 20s???

20s reduce the amount of rubber between the road and your rims creating a harsher ride at all tire pressures. A 37x20 tire has the exact same ground clearance as a 37x17, but the ride quality on and off the road is vastly improved with the 17s. Look up the term "small bump compliance" as it relates to on road driving and think of having an extra 1.5" of rubber to bounce on for off road driving.

There is no debate when it comes to 17s being better for our trucks all around. There are some who would argue the 20s "look better" but that is very subjective. I personally prefer the look of 17s on all my trucks.
