Once upon a time 3 of us cross the creek in CO and one of our Raptors came out with the same issues you are having.

I would trade it in as well. It is much easier for me to accept issues with my Raptor at 208k (6 years old) then still making $900 payments on a truck that smokes like a 80s Diesel and is as unreliable as a Volvo.

My 17 was part of the oil pan recall, oil leaks. Local Brownsville, TX dealership couldn't get it right. After 4th tow to their shop, they called me to tell me it's fixed and to pick up my truck. Bed liner full of oil where old parts were thrown, broken window controls, greasy leather seats. On the drive home, engine blew. The next day, after truck was towed back to the dealer, I get a survey from Ford asking how my experience was. I responded in detail and attached pics. Next day I was called in to the dealer where I was greeted by the owner, the service manager and quality control from Ford. Long story short, Ford made the dealer get me a 2019 at cost. They let me pick everything I wanted and transferred the equity from my 17. Driven it 12,500 miles and no problems. I was really impressed with how fast Ford stepped up. 20181124_112916.jpg

Those that say you won't win are just flat wrong. Ask me how I know.. You will have to be persistent and stay on top of the failures. You need to create a diary of exactly what happened and when. The video evidence is of course the best evidence. It takes time but once you contact Ford a regional rep should be assigned and get involved. You will then contact them directly everytime it goes in.

I’ve dealt with a lemon before from GM, bought a GMC Yukon that ate engine oil like gasoline. After a few months of back and forth with the dealership and GM Corporate, I was told that the oil consumption was within specs and that if I get the low oil warning I should go to a gas station and top it off!! On a $55k car mind you.

I live in CA. I contacted a lemon lawyer, and literally just through emails. Within weeks he was able to get GM to pay for a new engine and for his fees.

The Lemon law is powerful and heavily tilted towards the consumer not the automakers, consumers almost always win.

Contact a lawyer and get this resolved.

Icecobra....thanks so much for the excellent advice. I appreciated it. I’m gonna follow what you said plus others advice.
Maybe you misunderstood me - I would still try to get them to make it right - but if they can't or won't, then trade it.
