Joe how does yours not have any drone.. My Lightning setup is the same muffler/resonator as they use for the Screw dump system and it has lots of drone.

Soon as I transfer the truck from being under the business and into just my name I am registering it down here in FL and will be pulling the cats off so I am hoping it will get a little louder, but I would love to also get rid of the drone as I am ok with it but Female passengers sometimes like to complain.. ;) And I am sure removing the cats will only make it drone louder. Plus if I drive to Baja this spring I would rather limit the drone.

I had a lightning exhaust at first that was installed but stainless works I went to TRR and it failed the mufflers broke and a bunch of stupid stuff so thanks to a few good guys Kirk raptor addict and Greg Faust i was welded up and on my way home. So I call stainless works and went and showed them what happened to the setup and we discussed how to solve the problem for the guys that push the limits and brake shit. We can up with the dump setup and took it for a ride and George the manager was amazed that all the drone was gone and it sounded great. We both agreed it was a great setup and should be made for sale so after I tested the hell out. They have installed the setup on another truck recently so they could have it for there website and to make the jigs so they could produce them for the masses. I am installing a system on another truck in a week or so and I'm sure I will see you in Michigan and you can check it out in my truck.

if the exhaust hits the bottom of the truck there is an installation problem. Plz have whomever has this truck give me a call. This is something that can be easily resolved:)

I put my 16" on this past weekend. This thing is awesome. It is soooo much better than stock. I got it through Crown Offroad, who were a good group of guys to work with.

Only thing is, it seems like it's sitting a little lower than the rest of the pics I've seen. I bolted it to the stock frame mount. what do you think?

Mine looks just like that. Never had a problem with it. To be honest, if it's much higher than that it will increase the amount of sound transferred into the cab of the truck anyway.

You can mount it higher on the stock frame mount if you need it higher. Just loosen the two front bolts, rotate the tip up more and drill a new hole. I mounted mine where the exit is pretty much level and it is higher than yours. I gotta a pic some where.
