What did you drive 50 mph the whole way
LOL I was going to ask the same question.

I just got home from a week long 1,000 trip and was super proud of my results. Guess I need work.

which only net me 17.8

Wife and 2 kids with me along with a pickup bed filled with a weeks worth of luggage and more. I was super happy to see these numbers from a Raptor.

When not in traffic I averaged 75 MPH

16.1 on my most recent trip running 82-85mph. There are quite a few hills on the trip. It would be interesting to see what one would get in the middle of the country where it's pretty flat everywhere.

I drove 685 miles from Estes Park Colorado to Des Moines Iowa. Mostly I-76 and I-80 with some two lane mountain roads down hill coming out of the mountains. With a mild tail wind behind me I got 17.6 mpg on this leg.

Then 94 miles of in town driving in Des Moines which brought the average down slightly.

Then 685 miles back to Estes Park into a light wind and of course uphill from 1000 feet of elevation to 7522.

All on 91 premium unleaded with alcohol. I used cruise control set about 8mph over the interstate speed limits of between 70-75 mph.

No hot rodding or poking along, just normal acceleration. Final mileage total was 1464 at 16.4 mpg combined for the whole trip.

Not to bad for a lifted 6000lb truck.

Edit: Dash calculated mpg only.

That's not bad at all. I haven't done any long trips yet on mine since I've only had it for 3 weeks now, but curious what it will do.

I have done a couple 2,400 mile road trips in my 2018..... if I set the cruise at 75, it can squeeze 18mpg. anything over 75mph, the boost and fuel kick in and mpg drops to 13mpg.

Getting ready to do another 2,400 mile road trip STL to Orlando. Want to take our sedan and enjoy 31mpg, but the wife and kids all said we are taking the truck because of the room and nice ride on the highway.
