16.4 mpg on 1464 mile road trip - details below

Dash calculated vs actual calculation to prove. My dash is consistently 1mpg- .04 off. Im not sure if the 3G is better?

I got 19.5 from WV to FL and back, about 1600 miles, that included a week's worth of in-town driving in traffic.

It’s unreal, to be kind, that anyone is getting 22 or 23 mpg. Having owned 3 Gen 2s, and having driven across country and back, about 6k miles each time, I never got more than 17 or so and considered that good.

But it’s a raptor so who cares? If it was mpg I was concerned with I’d be driving a Prius.

Got 16.9 on a 16xx road mile. Cruising around 80-85 mph on the highway. Little local road driving.

I had a 2018 and and a 2019 Raptor and I was always getting about 19-23. I can't seem to break 16.5 on my 2023.

I averaged 16.9 in my 2018 and 12.9 in my 23. Same daily drive, generally.

I dunno why, maybe it’s the better sounding exhaust on this one

Any tips for road-trips? I’m flying 2,000 miles tomorrow to pick up my new raptor and driving it back! Hope to finish the drive in 3 days with 2 others helping me drive.

I change my oil at 500, 1500, 3000, 5000 miles and every 5k after

I’m at 3,000ish miles and I’m averaging 13.9. But so far 2,600ish of the 3,000 is inner city Houston driving mostly during rush hour and lunch.

I recently did a road trip and tried to get better mileage. I got it to 18.4 but averaged 16.4 for the entire trip. Well worth the fun it was.
