15+ Reverse Shock & Relocation Mount Kit

Any good reads/reviews/feedback out there relating to a 15+ reverse shock?

Ive seen the RPG kit, and curious if anyone with a 15+ 3.0 truck did a before and after relocating the shock forward? Hoping maybe a previous rap owner who built up a 15 and been offroading with the reversed setup?

Foutz has been running it as-is obviously, but guess im mostly curious of its benefits beyond eliminating wheelhp/axlewrap. If one were to go to progressive leafs, is the relocation a no-brainer for better offroad control?

Been looking on other forums for more info a while now, figured id post here for anyone else interested.

Hey hey,

Yes the primary objective is to reduce axle wrap caused by soft leaf springs and power, but there is a huge problem will rear steer.
Being that the Drivers Side Shock is mounted rearward on the top and forward on the Passenger's side.
1. the rear end wants to steer to the Right when being compressed
2. steer to the Left when extending

This causes the rear end to feel very loose... Not to the fault of the shocks or Springs.. But a compromised Chassis design.

Our Shock Mount Relocation kit allows you to run the Fox and King External bypass shocks. I have not checked fitment on the Icons.

Resurrecting an old thread.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with the RPG rear shock mounts. I notice the rear steer effect at high speed on the highway and I hate it.
