Got mine installed....boy is it good and bright. No issues other than need some of those small body clips that hold grill on the bumper. Anyone got a part number for those?

The grill just pulls out, but the clips are not really made for reuse especially if they come off the body part. There are 4 prongs per clip that hold onto the body part and some bend and some break. I reused the clips after fixing some of the prongs, but the grill is not as tight / solid as it was before I removed it. So I am going to make sure I have the light aligned where I want it and then put new clips on. BTW, u need 8 clips. I will swing by dealer today.

So went by the Ford dealership. They looked up the lower front grill and advised that Ford did not sell the clips separate from the grill. Did some research on Ford parts web site and could not find them either.

They spent some time with my friend Google. Found ClipsAndFasteners.com - Automotive Retainers,Clips and Fasteners and took me a while to find something that looked same and had the right deminsions. Ordered this pack of 25 mostly becuase I wanted black.

https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=A20268&CartID=1

UPDATED 8/7/17.....the ones above do not work. They are slightly off and will let the grill pop off with minor effort.

I will spare you all the cross-ferencing, but found 3 different GM part numbers on that web-site for similar clips. Then went to eBay and found these which appear to be lowest overall cost for pack of 15, and the 3 part numbers all tie to the same eBay item.

1994-2017 Interior Trim Clips (25) GM 15748479 1/2" X 5/8" Free Shipping !!!! | eBay

I will post up after I get them and let you know how the ones I ordered work out.

Here are the ones I bought and used on my lower front grill. They are slightly larger than the OEM ones, but work perfectly:

I found those on the same website I referenced, but did not order since slightly different design. Good to know in case the ones I ordered do not work...but think they will. Should be here this week as they already shipped.

Wanted to chime in on the front license plate issue. My wife and I never used them on our BMWs and never had a problem in IL. But, our dealer was cool and said to blame it on them if we ever got stopped and tell the officer that we didn't notice but told the dealer to put it on at our last service appointment and they missed it. Damn Ford dealer put mine on before I had a chance to chime in, but I think they mount it with a dealer plate when they get it.

Good to hear as just ordered one and going to run on AUX4 which is 10A. Specs say just over 8A, but nice to hear good in real world.

Sorry. Just saw this. Yup, aux 3 for me. I just had to cut off two tabs from grill if I recall. Nothing else had to be removed. It was a pretty easy install. Might want to leave the grill off until you are 100% sure it's aimed properly.

If you can get a tiny pair of needle nose pliers in there to squeeze them when pulling off you can save them. I've taken my grill off 2-3 times and had to bend a pin or two back in place but the clips are still good.

I cut off the 4 tabs in the instructions.....just the tabs not the whole "block" that the tab is part of.

Wish I had known that before. Really need to be in the BD instructions or they need to provide (8) clips with the package.
