It wouldn't shock me if Ford does ship the truck without flairs. Transport is an issue, especially if a shipment of flairs arrives, it's easier to ship flairs instead of trucks. They're probably sending them out when transportation is available.

This makes no sense. Why would Ford force the dealer to store the unfinished vehicle on their dealer lot, rather than keeping it in MI?

Ford wants to move them before the end of the year. There is a shortage of auto transports. It's much easier to ship the fender flairs via UPS or FedEX than it is to get 1000 or 2000 Raptors loaded and shipped out in a few days along with all of the other regular F150s rolling off of the line. Similar things were looked at for shipping vehicles without all of the chips and having the dealers install.

I expect that the end of the year plays a factor. They don't want to be holding 2021s to ship in early 2022.

This makes sense.
Plus, dealer lots have a lot of extra space right now....

If that’s the case Ford has a lotttttt of work ahead of them in a 4 week timeframe and I don’t think they’ll pull through. They seem to be focusing so much on innovation that they forgot about their operations department

Well just got another update from dealer. I was a 9/30 blend built 10/1. He is now saying 1/13, maybe because its shipping all the way to Ca?. At this rate the TRX I ordered last month might actually beat the Raptor I ordered in June. If this thing was not in a discontinued color for sure I would walk from a 21 you actually get in 22.

Do any of the online trackers show this new ETA?

I have a 9/29 blend date and my Estimated Delivery still shows 11/5
