Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

12/19 came and went. Still on chip hold in Dearborn. No one knows what or why, but with all the MY 23’s showing up at dealerships, I think it has to be tied to the heated steering wheel, it’s the only thing my truck has that the new ones don’t.

Silver lining - at least if I don’t see it by the end of the year, I won’t have to pay sales tax and personal property tax in the same year!

Update:

The tracker AND Ford Marketing both acknowledge that the truck is finally built! The Tracker says “In Transit,” but alas, it still sits in Melvindale, MI, right next to the plant on infamous “Ramp 58.”

ETA to dealership is Jan 29-Feb 5. Not holding my breath, but it seems that we are getting closer! Time will tell.

While it sucks to be getting a ‘22 in ‘23, I will thoroughly enjoy having a heated steering wheel, an alarm system and SiriusXM.
