I’ve owned the 1Up for a while. Definitely excellent rack.

However, if you plan on lowering it often to get into tailgate, know it’s not easy to do. Easier with one bike, very difficult with two, and I would think near impossible with more.

In order to drop it there is a long bar that you have to pull toward you. It is mounted with two strong springs and so if you don’t pull it right in the middle it can be hard to dislodge both sides. Especially with the weight of the bikes on it.

Also, I’m old so take it from who it’s coming, but it’s a heavy bastard and so not that easy to carry to and from truck.

View attachment 124249 View attachment 124250 There is Nothing better or more stable than a 1up! I made the mistake of getting a Yakima the first go, rack was wobbly and didn’t secure the bike well. I almost lost my custom built intense going to an enduro race on washed out dirt roads. Do it right the first time and get the 1up.

Does this trigger false warning on blind spot sensor and cross traffic sensor?

Only when backing up for me in my 18 802a

Thanks for your quick reply.
Just want to double confirm. There is no blinking amber dots in side rear view mirror when driving on the road, right?
The amber dots means a vehicle is approaching from behind in the blind spot and there no beeping.

No, the 1up rack doesn’t set off the BLIS system.

No issues while going forward.
