Pardon my ignore, but is the consensus now that the VWR ETA is actually more of an ETA on chip being available to truck in question, implying delivery ETA to dealer would be days/weeks after "Chip availability ETA"?

Or is the VWR ETA still arrival to dealer, implying chip availability a few days/weeks prior.

They have the chips. The trucks are taken off-site until ford designates a date to ship them back to the plant and have the chips installed. No one can give a real answer to how long that will be. Some people are saying the ETA is when the chips will be installed but that just seems like convenient wishful thinking at this point. By now Ford should have a whole team of people that can deal with this situation in a quick and easy manner after last year’s debacle but no, more of the same.

Just an FYI Ford has apparently cut allocations for the 2nd quarter in order to focus on getting all of the VOW's delivered to dealers. My store was only allocated 11 vehicles for the production month of May. There is some hope that we get our trucks faster than what the 10/11 crew experienced as Ford is supposedly focusing on VOW's now. But I'm still not holding my breath....seeing is believing when it comes to Ford these days.

Great. Mine went from 'Produced' per FP back to 'In Production'. ETA now is 3/20-3/26 (but he didn't say what year...).

Nice! Believe it or not that really good news. Means your truck has been been shipped back to the plant to have the missing chips installed so it sounds like things are moving. What date did you order? I’ve heard that they are prioritizing the chip hold VOWs by order date.

What’s up fellas first time posting here but sounds like I’m in the same boat as a lot of you….

Order confirmed 10/15
Went into production on 2/15 and haven’t had any movement since.
Basic build: 801a/35/moonroof/Bedliner

Spoke to FP this morning and he told me . According to them my truck is on a hold but doesn’t say what for. He did say however, the eta is still showing 3/26 to California which he said is strange. He said it’s not happening a ton but some trucks are being released from these holds. Said it’s a maybe as to getting here by 3/26 but it’ll have to be released by Friday and to call back then. Not holding my breath.

My dealer contact seems like a dummy honestly so I don’t reach out to him much. All he has told me is it should be there by that eta and it’s on ramp CC59

Guess I’m hoping to have it by may lol

I just heard back from the Ford Exec that I made contact with, and he told me mine is on hold because there is a “campaign for power steering column” he is getting me more details. That would mean it needs to go back to the line and have the interior removed and replace the column. He is verifying that right now. More to come...
