Dealer just called and gave me an update. "Chip hold, ETA 4/5, your truck is in storage" They said this is what the report said. Not sure what report they use and it's first time I've heard 'in storage'.

As an FYI my order was confirmed 10/6, truck went into production 1/31, had a blend date of 2/7, the tracker still shows it is 'In Production' and date under that is '2/24/22'

All of the above is after my 2021 order from mid-June sat unscheduled/clean until Oct & my dealer placed a new order for a '22 for me.
My ETA is still showing 4/2. Spoke with my Ford rep and she says my truck will get the chips it needs by the 4/2 date listed on the ETA. I won't hold my breath...I'll believe it when it gets put on a train to come to South Carolina!

Try chatting ford performance and see if they confirm the same eta
FP said they show it on hold but they don't know why and they show an ETA of 4/3. 4/3 is a Sunday. My dealers ETA of 4/5 is a Tuesday which sounds more realistic. You'd think the dealer and FP would have the same info, but Noooooooooooooooo! LOL

'If' and that is a BIG 'if' that ETA holds, it will be the fastest turn I've seen on a chip hold on this forum. Like others, not holding my breath and I'll believe it's real when it's in my driveway.

Yeah FP can't see why they are on hold but the dealer VVR screen for mine shows micro chip hold under an ETA range of May 11-17th.

My dealer ETA shows 03/13 now with Chip hold and FP said that is the date it should get the chip, but on a Sunday? No way it gets built in 4 days, Come on.....

From everything I’ve seen on other guys stuff I trust the dealer VVR to be most accurate. It shows more detail than fP can see. Mine shows a range eta . Not a specific day like your being told

Yes, my ETA start date is 03/07 and end ETA is 03/13 and the rest are same as yours which said chip hold. I am already within the ETA range without any built updates, I am not buying that it will get chips before Sunday

Agreed. I'm kind of done checking with FP for updates as my dealer has had more and better info each time. My dealer showed me that same screen shot for my truck as well with a 7 day ETA range.

Pardon my ignore, but is the consensus now that the VWR ETA is actually more of an ETA on chip being available to truck in question, implying delivery ETA to dealer would be days/weeks after "Chip availability ETA"?

Or is the VWR ETA still arrival to dealer, implying chip availability a few days/weeks prior.

No body knows, I think that includes Ford
