I have been watching youtube reviews of the raptor, motor trend and large names like that. Some are getting 0-60 times at 6-4-6.7
What I think Ford has advertised and some reviews I read, they say 5.3 seconds. Kind of a big difference, is it maybe the driving mode it is in or is Ford just using un-realistic conditions like little fuel and optimum temperature on a flat track. Has anyone on here accurately tested there GEN2's?
I tried searching this forum, but couldn't find anything, i must be searching wrong because I am sure 0-60 questions comes up all the time.

No, it doesn't come up all the time. It's not the main selling point of a Raptor.

That being said, there's a handful of threads regarding 0-60 and 1/4 mile times already floating around on this site.

Considering that performance is a big part of the bragging rights of this truck, and that it has paddle-shifters, I'm kind of surprised Ford didn't program in a launch mode. All the hardware's in place to make it happen. While not the primary objective it would've been fun to have.

I would think performance and looks are the main selling points for the Raptor. I would bet 75% of owners never take there raptors on any serious type of off roading. I wanted to buy a camaro because I like a little motor in my vehicles, but I am a truck guy. I was looking at Callaway trucks, but even the supercharged 6.2L Chevy is slower I think than the raptor and much more expensive with the same trim level. My guess is it would take a lot more than 65k to make a loaded 1500 or F-150 as fast as the Raptor. I think a loaded raptor for 65k is good deal for what you get, compared for what you would pay to build something similar with a standard 1500 or an F150.
