I’m usually a guy who has mods in mind/ready before I even take ownership of a vehicle, but the raptor is one of the lost tricked out factory vehicles I can think of- & I’m into Vettes lol- of course everything can be made “better” or more “yours”.
I would suggest driving it a bit seeing what you’re doing w/ it before jumping fully into the mods. I’ve got 3000 Miles thus far- 1 “mod” I’m doing next week but wish I’d arranged sooner (would’ve been tough tho got the truck in Feb) - I’m having the diff/axles treated w/ Por15 then painted w/ rostoleum HD gloss black, the AL a-arms, spindles, brake calipers + front skid plates all getting done in cerakote MC 5100 clear that will preserve the raw AL finish & protect from oxidization for years- also make easier to clean, lastly had the rear wheel wells done in linex & then I’m coating the rest of the undercarriage/frame/shackles etc in Amsoil HDMP. The raptor is all aluminum but the frame/suspension on some seems to rust/oxidize quickly which is a stark contrast to the body + if you plan on doing any off-roading or a lot of winter use in salt/sand this keeps the truck looking fresh & staying easy to work on (no rust locked bolts/fasteners)
Front window tint & maybe sunroof
Some measure of PPF depending what you’re gonna use it for & wanna spend- I did the black “a/b” pillars on doors, partial hood/fenders, & the whole front “grill surround” painted stuff in xpel.
Some kinda Tonneau cover to keep you stuff dry & outta sight
Some kinda toolbox/additional bed storage to keep stuff rolling around & free up space in cab- I like undercover swing case cuz it’s removable. I also use a ratchetic cargo bar 1.5-2’ in from tailgate as a barrier to stop groceries or gas cans from flying to the front & spilling.
Since you got a bunch of aux switches & it’s great for off-road I def think it makes sense to add some lighting- again I’d wait a bit see what’s out there what you really like what may be a good deal
Etc. lots of options.
I think a winch is a good mod on the truck also uses a couple aux switches lol
Seen people mention stubby antenna I don’t have one but that’s a good idea mine scrapes like a SOB in city parking garages.
Bov mod? Not sure what it is but if it adds “better” engine/exhaust note I’d be interested- personally i think 3.5 EB sounds awful mostly but I like the turbo whine.
The exhaust tips seem to get dirty quickly & oxidize & tough to keep looking decent, I’d consider swapping out for something nicer/easier to keep clean.
People mention brakes but I personally think they’re decent - but I don’t drive like an idiot nor do I expect it to behave like a sports car. I would keep stock for now as they’re functional, new, & when time comes swapping out to better discs/pads could be all that’s needed to get a noticeable bump in performance. Also- I imagine a full blown big break kit (calipers & cylinder included) could warrant voiding warranty related to stability/traction control systems....even suspension, which is worth thinking about.
The big question is are ya gonna tune the truck? It’s very tempting given that it’s factory FI & very easy to gain 50-100hp w/ tune alone- course there’s more warranty concern there. I purchased an extended warranty on my raptor and STILL am thinking about it - a tune alone should be perfectly safe on these trucks given they share a lot w/ the Ford GT engine-wise (internal upgrades) & over the last 10 years we’ve seen plenty of big power EB vehicles. This is a new tranny tho- but also has been proven in high-PO vehicles already. Personally I’m stalking forums on this seeming what other people are experiencing what are the preferred tuners & also will wait until a) I get my tranny TSB done by dealer & b) the tuners Crack the tranny software & can tune that as well- don’t care what anyone says doing significant tuning to the ECM while leaving TCM stalk in a modern auto vehicle is not ideal.
I wouldn’t touch the suspension on a 2019 for obvious reasons. I have an 18, contemplated 1.5” perch collars but on fence have heard some experienced immediate squat w/ any kinda of weight in bed + I also saw a couple mention squeaking from front suspension. However higher quality/higher rate rear leafs seem like a good idea IMO based on how the truck handles....plus Doing in tandem w/ perch collars would eliminate concern for rear squat- you’d get lift + maintain rake.
