Actually, the live valve shocks are pretty good. They weren't designed to be operated out of spec though, so that's where the issue is.

I’m sure you think it rode great.I put 300K miles on readylift on my 2011 Raptor - it rode great.
The issue is the live valve shocks - they suck.
Good stuff I hope you like those !I ordered some Eibach springs
I think the live valve shocks are awesome. I beat the hell out of them offroad and they keep performing well. Great tech and noticeable difference over a stock 17/18 shock non live valve I’ve heard

I bought the first 6.2L Raptor I could get my hands on in late 2010. I put a Readylift kit on it with 37’s the day I got it. Put 300,000 miles on it - no problems. Rode great.
The ‘19 live valves shocks suck.
With a Gen 1, you could have adjusted the height using the perch adjustments that came with the truck. I am surprised you had no issues with the ReadyLift on your Gen 1, as it was not made for that truck either.
The highest perch setting didn’t give enough clearance for the 37’s. So we used Readylift and the lowest perch setting.
