What are typically some of the gains seen from a FMIC and a good tune? 75-100 rwhp?

Is a FMIC that much more efficient for a Gen 3 than let's say Cobbs upgraded stock replacement? One install looks to be much much hard than the other and wondered about tuning and stuff.

Search thru my post history and you can find some. I'm selling the ones that were on my truck currently. They were way too dark to me. I wanted a smoked looked but they are like blacked out. Didn't blend with my truck right. I might try some red ones eventually or try Recon.

Truck is going next Wednesday to a shop an hour away for about two weeks. It's getting matte PPF on the entire truck(truck will be taken apart), flares taken off, film removed and matte installed and if they need touched up that as well, plus Eibach 1" front springs, Method 703s in black, and...

Not really. I'm actually in the process of taking my truck to another shop next week. They are going to take the flares off along with other parts of the truck and doing the entire thing in matte PPF.

Question, if you go front and rear springs on a 35 truck to upgrade to 37s will you need to any kind of calibration or just adjust tire size in Forscan?

God these look amazing! Wonder what offset would be right for 37s and no rub? If you had Eibach springs front and run? 0?

I think I’ve got two issues… 1) it’s been a week. Wait awhile and see how I feel after I get wheels in and 37s(that’s planned) 2) I need to allow the installer a chance to correct some of the imperfections in the PPF. Fenders I’m sure are a nightmare to do anyway.

Would it be okay if I let it sit in the sun for a bit then just start working it towards me to peel it off? Bumpers as well?

I don't have one locally that I can unfortunately. It would be an hour or more away and I know I'd have to leave it with them for some time.

No those are separate pieces I just meant he didn't take the flares off. But like the photos in some of the corners around the lights is well.....kinda off

That wouldn't be a bad option but given the photos I wonder if the guy can properly wrap the flares. He didn't take anything off and did everything on the truck

Yeah that's what I've been told. No matter if he takes it off or I do, it's coming off. Bumpers shouldn't be an issue though?

I think it really comes down to the flares. Removing the PPF from the bumpers and splash guard shouldn't take anything off the coating from what I've read. I know the flares are around $700 a piece so it would comes down to ordering new ones and taking the PPF off the other stuff or still taking...
