Picked up the truck today and good as new.

Definitely smells like oil. Dealership called and said they are replacing both heads. They have one in stock and the other will be delivered on Monday. Should have the truck back sometime next week. Ford dragged their feet on paying the bill, but finally agreed to it.

I know very little about engines and was just stating what the service manager said. He called me today, and said they are waiting on Ford to approve the repair. He mentioned a valve stem leak and oil in the cylinder. Hopefully will be fixed in the next week or so and I can post the cause.

Sorry for the late response. They are OEM, and found them for sale from a Ford parts dealer on eBay. Just got home from a 900 mile round trip with the Raptor. I’ve only had the truck for about two months now but I’m extremely impressed with it. The ride was smooth and the drive was enjoyable.

Okay, I lied and went back and installed the Cobb OEM+ TCM tune and took it for a drive. It felt exactly like stock except there was zero hard shifts felt in the truck. I know I’m preaching to the choir but this is how the truck should have come from factory. Love it!

Yeah, I definitely agree.

I’m going to sound like a boomer but I honestly prefer a physical button to a touch screen. I’d much rather reach for a button to press than take my eyes off the road to find it on a screen.

Good point! I actually like the scrolling of the radio stations versus the three sets of presets for XM Radio. Minor change but I like it.

Updated my Sync3 from the old 3.0 version to the new 3.4x. I haven’t seen a huge difference yet, but I definitely prefer the blue theme versus the white.
