I've come to the conclusion that the Ford search is garbage and inconsistent. I see Raptors show in the search and then drop off the next day even though the dealer still lists them and they show up in Build Status. I'm done searching for now. Maybe one will just show up in my driveway someday.

I did find an dealer that I would pay MSRP if I order and offered to phone me if their pre-ordered arrived and buyer walked away. Good to know I can save the 20K and all I have to do is wait a little longer. Even is today's crap chaos markets.

I've been able to tune my search process a little to get availability and track it to dealer. Have not found anything with an arrival sooner than mid September so far.. Ford Inventory Search - increase search radius in URL to max of 500...

I did notice and one of the reasons I called that dealer to request a quote. I've never seen that option before but I'd say to me.. it's a great one.

Any better ways to locate one other than Ford's search that's limited to a 100 mile radius?

I'm wondering if dealers are marking them up even for those that ordered? Like the call and "Hey .. you're Raptor's here.. it'll be 10K above ordered/quoted price upon delivery"
